Welcome
‘De Kistemaker’ provides luxury bed and breakfast accommodation on the outskirts of Barchem (near Lochem).
‘De Kistemaker’ is the name of our farmhouse and of the adjacent schöppe (barn) dating back to 1780.
You are welcome to stay with us whether you’re travelling as a couple, as a family or on business. In total we have five rooms.
You can stay the night with us and enjoy fine dining too.
In 2011 and 2012 we fully renovated and restored the barn under architectural supervision. We have combined authentic original features with modern comfort and a trendy style to create a unique guesthouse with three bedrooms.
There are two more bedrooms in the farmhouse which was restored in 2008.
The guesthouse includes a spacious communal living area where we serve breakfast and dinner. There is also a small kitchen. You have the use of a large private garden behind the property.
Our aim is to provide you with the freedom to enjoy yourselves as you wish. The combination of beautiful buildings, the luxury, tranquility and spaciousness of our surroundings and delicious food underpin this. We strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We will make every endeavour to fulfil all your wishes.
